Disneyland Resort recently announced the comeback of incredible entertainment and expanded selections in 2022. Fans will be delighted by the return of nighttime spectaculars ‘Fantasmic!’, ‘World of Color’ and ‘Disneyland Forever,’ the 50th-anniversary return of the ‘Main Street Electrical Parade’ in the evening and so much more during the day at both Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure.

Disney’s classic ‘Main Street Electrical Parade’ will be lighting up the night back in Spring 2022, with favorites such as Elliot the Dragon and all the traditional floats returning. So join Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Goofy for this electrifying experience.

For nearly 30 years, ‘Fantasmic!’ has been a must-see show at the Disneyland resort, and it’s officially coming back. Choreographed to an incredible music score and with stunning special effects (you can’t forget the fire-breathing Maleficent Dragon!), the Rivers of America will be coming to life once more as Mickey Mouse’s power of imagination allows him to create fantastic events and images. It’s a show that cannot be missed.

Another nighttime favorite, the ‘World of Color’, will be coming back with all of its unique fog, fire, music, laser, and light effects. Finally, ‘Disneyland Forever,’ the quintessential fireworks show, will surprise and delight guests as they look to the skies over Main Street U.S.A. This show is the perfect way to cap off the ideal Disneyland Day.

Along with these great nighttime shows, Disneyland Park will welcome back ‘Celebrate Gospel’ and re-introduce ‘Tale of the Lion King.’ First, enjoy the return of Gospel music and lively, uplifting choir performances with ‘Celebrate Gospel’ at the Fantasyland theater on select dates in February. Then, get ready for ‘Tale of the Lion King,’ an imaginative adaptation of the well-loved story of Disney’s “The Lion King.” This show is brought to life by the Storytellers of the Pride Lands, a troupe of traveling performers who tell the story of Simba like no other in a unique story-theater style.
