Celebrate ‘Soul’ this summer at Disneyland Resort

Philly Phonics, an a cappella vocal group

Beginning June 1- July 4, enjoy Celebrate Soulfully at Disney California Adventure park which will feature daily live music celebrating Black music genres from Doo-Wop to Motown. Philly Phonics, a cappella vocal group, will perform popular music from the 1920s through today and Five & Dime will also play 1920s and ‘30s music as well!

In the evening, in the Hollywood Backlot, there will be a special block party, featuring live musical acts seven nights a week.

“The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” Exhibit and More Coming to the Downtown Disney District

“The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure,” is a touring exhibit that will be featured in the Downtown Disney District from June 1 to July 4, featuring Joe Gardner, star of Disney and Pixar’s original animated film, “Soul”.

The exhibit illustrates different cultures and creators who influenced the genre and is completely complimentary to all resort guests, located in the building adjacent to Star Wars Trading Post.
