Halloween Horror Nights Returns to Universal Studios Japan This Year

Universal Studios Japan will be holding its NO LIMIT! Halloween event – exciting guests both day and night – this fall from Thursday, September 8th to Sunday, November 6th.

Universal Studios Japan’s Halloween Horror Nights will make a full comeback with four horror attractions. Guests will experience extreme horror and exciting attractions. Universal Studios Japan’s NO LIMIT! Halloween will bring action-packed autumn this year.

The “Street Zombies” are fully powered up! This year’s Zombie hoard will feature the largest variety of Zombies in park history as projection mapping turns the nighttime streets into something horrifying for Halloween Horror Nights. Zombies de Dance will also return with a total of six stages.

Making its Japan debut this fall is the legendary Universal Monsters: Legends of Fear. It will shock you to the core, putting you face-to-face with the world’s most horrifying monsters. Drowned in darkness, will you and your friends be able to escape the clutches of Dracula, Wolf Man, Frankenstein, and other untold horrors? You’re about to step into your worst nightmare. You’re trespassing in their territory now, and you may just be their next victim. They’re on the hunt, you’re on the run! The new frightening maze is inspired by the popular 2019 Universal Monsters maze from Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights in the United States, which received the highest guest satisfaction.

Back by popular demand, the enhanced Biohazard The Extreme+ horror maze will be back with deadly missions that will decide guests’ fate. Cult of Chucky and Sherlock Holmes: The Curse of the Rose Sword will also return to the exciting horror lineup.

NO LIMIT! Halloween will also feature special Halloween character meet and greets. Kuromi and My Melody will make their debut at this year’s event. The Minion Monsters Greeting is back this year featuring Illumination’s Minions in their “Hacha Mecha” Halloween costumes! Guests will also enjoy the Universal Wonderland Halloween Dance-a-long featuring everyone’s favorite characters from Universal Wonderland dancing in their Halloween costumes. Both children and adults are sure to be thrilled with one super exciting experience after another this Halloween season.

Guests won’t be able to escape as Zombies and monsters take over and fill the streets with horror in “Street Zombies” – featuring the largest variety of Zombies in park history.

The horror doesn’t only take place after the sun goes down. Available attractions during the day include Universal Monsters: Legends of Fear, the frightening maze inspired by the popular 2019 Universal Monsters maze from Universal Orlando Resort’s Halloween Horror Nights in the United States which received the highest guest satisfaction*
An upgraded version of the survival horror maze, “Biohazard The Extreme+” as well as the horror maze Cult of Chucky will return.
