Hersheypark ‘Christmas Candylane’ Event Returns November 10

Hersheypark’s annual ‘Christmas Candylane’ event returns on November 10, 2023. Although the park will not be not open daily during the holiday season (until December 14 and excluding Christmas Day), it will open on weekends to host guests for this holiday event through January 1, 2023.

‘Christmas Candylane’ event

As part of this year’s ‘Christmas Candylane’ event, guests can expect:

  • More than 5,000,000 lights: 250,000 of them can be seen in the NOEL light show which takes place at 5 p.m. within “The Hollow” area
  • Thrill and family-friendly rides: Although not all of the amusement park’s rides will be open for this special event, many fan-favories will be, including:
    • Thrill rides: Wildcat’s Revenge, Candymonium, sooperdooperLooper, Jolly Rancher Remix, Wild Mouse, Cocoa Cruiser, and Laff Track.
    • Family-friendly rides: Dry Gulch Railroad and Skyview
  • To see all nine reindeer: Hersheypark is the only place in the northeast to have all nine reindeer at Santa’s Reindeer Stables
  • To see Santa: Santa Claus will be present to meet and take photos guests all day every day (minus breaks) throughout the season until Decebmer 24, 2023. Some of his elves will be there, too.
  • A *NEW* dance party: Mrs. Claus’ Dance Party will make its debut at this year’s event. This dance party located under the former Carousel Pavilion will feature Mrs. Claus who will help guests dance their way through the holidays.
  • TREEville Trail: There will be more than a dozen decorated trees on display at The Boardwalk area
  • Character greetings: Although the characters guests will see may change depending on the day and time, there’s one thing that’s for certain–they’ll be wearing their festive winter garb.
  • Delicious eats: Guests can treat themselves to an Apple king-sized shake at Milton’s Ice Cream Parlor or dig into a slice of Thanksgiving Pizza at the Overlook food court to name a few–it wouldn’t be Hersheypark without some sweet treats after all!   • Festive eats at The Chocolatier: The Chocolatier will offer diners of all ages festive experiences for purchase. Adults ages 21 and older can opt to enjoy some spiked hot chocolate while the children dig into one of the tabletop s’mores kits. Guests of all ages can participate in a special breakfast with Santa Claus and his elves. However, reservations are required and are likely to book quickly.

Hershey Sweet Lights

Hershey Sweet Lights is a separately ticketed holiday attraction that begins November 10, 2023, and will be available for guests to enjoy every night through January 1, 2024.

This attraction contains more than 600 lighted displays and themed holiday music that you can listen to while riding through.
