Tokyo Disney Resort Announces Special Events Through First Half of 2024

Tokyo Disney Resort® announced the Tokyo Disneyland Park and Tokyo DisneySea Park schedule for spring 2024 with details regarding brand-new special events.

At Tokyo DisneySea, the eighth themed port, Fantasy Springs, will open on June 6, 2024. Themed to magical springs that lead to a world of Disney fantasy, Fantasy Springs will comprise three areas inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios films and a Disney hotel. Additionally, from April, four special events will be presented at the two Parks, treating guests to exciting and dream-filled experiences in spring 2024.

June 6, 2024 – Grand Opening of Fantasy Springs

Frozen Kingdom

The beautiful scenery of the kingdom of Arendelle unfolds before guests at Frozen Kingdom. In the Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey attraction, which follows the story of the original film, guests experience an epic and heartwarming tale of two sisters who discover that only true love can thaw a frozen heart. The attraction also features well-known songs from the Disney Animation film Frozen. Note: Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey will be presented by Daiwa House Industry Co., Ltd.

Rapunzel’s Forest

In Rapunzel’s Forest stands a tower where the long-haired princess Rapunzel has lived since she was a child. Here, guests can enjoy the Rapunzel’s Lantern Festival attraction, and experience a romantic boat ride to the annual Lantern Festival.

Peter Pan’s Never Land

Peter Pan’s Never Land offers spectacular scenery, which includes Captain Hook’s pirate ship and the iconic Skull Rock that guests may recall from the Disney Animation film Peter Pan. At Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure attraction, guests join Peter Pan and his friends as they encounter Captain Hook and fly over Never Land. The Fairy Tinker Bell’s Busy Buggies attraction in Pixie Hollow, the fairy valley where Tinker Bell lives, welcomes guests at fairy size to enjoy the changing seasons.

Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel

Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel, the sixth Disney hotel to open in Japan, will comprise two buildings: the Fantasy Chateau and the Grand Chateau. Guests can immerse themselves in Fantasy Springs at this Park-integrated hotel located inside Tokyo DisneySea. Additionally, Fantasy Springs will feature restaurants and a shop inspired by the world of Disney animation films.

Special Event at Tokyo DisneySea

“Dreaming of Fantasy Springs”

From April 9, before the Grand Opening of Fantasy Springs, Tokyo DisneySea will present “Dreaming of Fantasy Springs.” Featuring a harbor greeting, decorations, merchandise and menus all themed to the special event, “Dreaming of Fantasy Springs” will allow guests to imagine and gain a better grasp of the world of Fantasy Springs. Guests will be able to expand their imagination and begin dreaming of what kind of magical world awaits them at Fantasy Springs.

Special Event at Tokyo Disneyland

“Disney Pal-Palooza,” Second Event

“Disney Pal-Palooza,” which begins on January 10, 2024, will feature its second special event in the series starting April 9. This special event series is all about having a blast with your “pals” in the Park in a party-like, “palooza,” environment. In the second event of the series, the event will focus on another Disney character and present a different world of fun and excitement.

Special Event at Tokyo Disneyland

“Celebrating Space Mountain: The Final Ignition!”

The Space Mountain attraction, which has been a favorite of guests since the Grand Opening of Tokyo Disneyland, will be completely transformed and reopen in 2027. Guests can journey into space one last time with the current version of Space Mountain during this special event.

– The current version of Space Mountain will close at the end of the day on July 31.

Special Event at Tokyo DisneySea

“Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival”

Themed to traveling the world through cuisine, “Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival,” will feature creatively designed special courses, set meals and snacks that can be enjoyed on the go as well as delicious beverages for all ages. In 2024, the “Tokyo DisneySea Food & Wine Festival” inspired by the different ports of Tokyo DisneySea, including Fantasy Springs, will be offering specialty food and snacks from around the world. The event will also provide opportunities for guests to discover and learn facts about the cuisine offered, enhancing their culinary journey around the world.
