Firing Cannons Return to Star Wars: Rise of The Resistance at Disneyland

Disneyland has brought back one of the most simple yet effective effects on the Star Wars: Rise of The Resistance attraction. The attraction has a scene where after encountering Kylo Ren in the lift, you exit the lift and encounter several massive cannons that are firing out into outer space at The Resistance. These cannons would move back and forth as they fired, all the while your vehicle would be moving between them.

For quite some time, the effect was turned off on both the Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios versions. As you can see from this video, the Disneyland version was recently turned back on.

It is not yet known if Disney’s Hollywood Studios version will get the same treatment. We will keep you posted.
