Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is a seasonal, limited-capacity event at Magic Kingdom that requires a separate ticket. Because it is one of the most popular events at Walt Disney World, planning around specific dates and ticket windows is essential.
Here is everything you need to know to plan your 2026 spooky visit.
1. 2026 Event Calendar
For 2026, the party runs on 38 select nights. If you are looking for the lowest prices, look toward mid-week dates in August and September.
- August: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
- September: 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29
- October: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31
2. Ticket Strategy & Pricing
Tickets range from $119 to $229 per person (plus tax).
- The Sales Window: For guests staying at Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, or Shades of Green, tickets go on sale May 5, 2026. For the general public, sales open on May 12, 2026.
- The Discounts: Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can receive a $10 discount per ticket on select nights in August and September.
- Pro Tip: Halloween Night (Oct 31) and the opening night (Aug 7) always sell out first. If these are your target dates, be online at 6:00 AM EST on your designated sale day.
3. Timing Your Arrival
One of the biggest perks of the MNSSHP ticket is the “bonus time” in the park.
- Official Party Hours: 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM.
- Early Entry: Your event ticket allows you to enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM without a daytime park ticket or reservation.
- The “Mix-In” Period: Between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM, the park contains both daytime guests and party guests. Use this time to grab a meal or ride attractions before the party-exclusive entertainment begins at 7:00 PM.
4. Entertainment Highlights & Showtimes

To maximize your night, prioritize these three major productions:
- Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade: In a 2026 update, the first parade now begins at 8:15 PM (perfect for families), with a second performance at 11:15 PM. Look for the Headless Horseman to lead the way!
- Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular: This fireworks and projection show is hosted by a life-sized Jack Skellington puppet. It typically takes place at 10:15 PM over Cinderella Castle.
- Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular: The Sanderson Sisters take over the Castle Forecourt Stage. Performances usually occur at 9:05 PM, 10:35 PM, and 12:00 AM.
5. 2026 “Must-Dos”

- New Character Meet-and-Greets: Mickey and Minnie will be greeting guests at Town Square Theater in their new 2026 neon-accented costumes.
- The Villains: This year features an increased presence of villains throughout the park. Keep an eye out for rare sightings of characters like Maleficent, Jafar, and the Queen of Hearts.
- Trick-or-Treat Trails: All guests receive a reusable treat bag. Mars Wrigley provides unlimited candy (including allergy-friendly options via a teal token system) at designated locations throughout the park.
6. Merchandise
To commemorate your night at Magic Kingdom, Disney is releasing a collection of event-exclusive merchandise. This year’s designs feature a traditional color palette of gray, black, and orange, highlighting iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and the Headless Horseman.
Hauntingly Stylish Apparel

Most of this year’s apparel features double-sided designs, so you can show off your party spirit from any angle:
- Event Adult Tees: Classic tees featuring the 2026 party artwork.
- Crewneck Sweatshirt: A cozy option for those (rare) breezy Florida fall nights, with detailed graphics on both the front and back.
Must-Have Accessories

- Mickey Mouse Vampire Plush Keychain: The standout item of the collection! This small plush doubles as a bag charm and is expected to be a top seller.
- Event Baseball Cap: A festive finishing touch to any Halloween outfit, featuring the event logo.
Chilling Collectibles & Keepsakes

- Novelty Mug: A themed mug that comes with a lid to keep your “brews” secure while you navigate the park.
- Castle Ornament: Perfect for adding a spooky touch to your holiday tree later in the year.
- Magnet Frame: A great way to display your favorite PhotoPass memory from the party.
6. Quick Tips
- Link your tickets: Ensure your party tickets are linked in the My Disney Experience app immediately after purchase.
- Check the weather: August and September parties often experience rain. Pack ponchos, as the parade may be delayed but rarely canceled.
- Costume Policy: Costumes must be family-friendly and cannot contain sharp objects or weapons that resemble actual weapons. Guests ages 14 and older may not wear masks.
