SeaWorld Orlando Brings Back “Inside Look” with New Behind-the-Scenes Animal Care Experiences

SeaWorld Orlando has announced the return of its highly anticipated Inside Look event, giving guests rare behind-the-scenes access to animal care and conservation efforts across the park. The annual experience will take place on January 10–11 and January 17–18, 2026, and is included with regular park admission.

Inside Look allows guests to meet the animal care professionals, veterinarians, aquarists, and rescue team members who work hands-on with SeaWorld’s animals every day. Due to the event’s popularity, guests are encouraged to arrive early, as capacity for select experiences is limited.

A Rare Look at World-Class Animal Care

Unlike standard behind-the-scenes tours offered throughout the year, Inside Look is the only time guests can hear directly from SeaWorld Orlando’s animal care teams at no additional cost. Expert-led talks and walkthroughs offer insight into daily care routines, rescue and rehabilitation efforts, and the specialized training that supports animal wellness.

“Inside Look gives our guests a rare opportunity to step behind the scenes and see the extraordinary care and dedication that happens every day at SeaWorld Orlando,” said Jon Peterson, Park President of SeaWorld Orlando. “These experiences highlight the passion of our teams who work tirelessly to protect animals and inspire conservation.”

New and Returning Inside Look Experiences for 2026

This year’s event features a mix of returning favorites and brand-new experiences, including:

  • NEW: Inside Antarctica (Penguin Habitat): Guests can step inside SeaWorld Orlando’s Antarctica habitat, home to six species of penguins, including emperor penguins. Animal care specialists share how the team maintains this cold-climate environment year-round. Space is limited, and reservations must be made in person.
  • NEW: Inside Birds of Prey: This behind-the-scenes experience offers access to a rarely seen care area featuring birds of prey such as owls and a bald eagle. Guests learn about specialized care, training, and conservation efforts supporting these remarkable animals.
  • Inside Marine Mammal Care (Dolphin Nursery): Guests will see how specialized diets are prepared for dolphins and meet a dolphin at the nursery. Animal care teams demonstrate how trained behaviors support wellness checks and health exams. Space is limited, with in-person reservations required.
  • Inside the SeaWorld Rescue Center: Visitors can tour the SeaWorld Rescue Center and meet filtration experts, lab technicians, veterinarians, and rescue staff who provide round-the-clock care. SeaWorld’s rescue teams have helped more than 42,650 sick, injured, and orphaned animals.
  • Inside Coral Rescue: Coral biologists take guests behind the scenes to learn about efforts to protect and restore Florida’s Coral Reef. Often called the rainforests of the ocean, coral reefs play a vital role in marine ecosystems.
  • Inside Manta Aquarium: Guests can enjoy a rare topside view of the Manta Aquarium, home to more than 3,000 animals across 10 aquariums. Aquarists explain daily care routines and habitat maintenance.
  • Inside Shark Encounter: This experience provides a topside look at the 700,000-gallon Shark Encounter habitat, including the medical pool used for annual physicals and insight into shark and sawfish care.

Presentations, Family Activities, and Interactive Fun

In addition to behind-the-scenes experiences, Inside Look includes expert-led presentations throughout the park, family-friendly activities, interactive games, trivia challenges, and a park-wide scavenger hunt designed to bring animal care stories to life.
