Disneyland Paris has officially stepped into a “new era.” As of March 29, 2026, the park formerly known as Walt Disney Studios Park has been transformed into Disney Adventure World. This isn’t just a name change; it’s the culmination of a €2 billion investment designed to drop guests directly into the heart of the stories they love.

From a 118-foot-tall icy peak to high-tech aquatic drones, here is everything you need to know about the most ambitious expansion in the resort’s history.

Step Into Arendelle at World of Frozen

The crown jewel of this expansion is undoubtedly the World of Frozen. Guests can now explore the Kingdom of Arendelle, complete with the 118-foot-tall North Mountain and Elsa’s Ice Palace.

  • Frozen Ever After: A musical boat journey featuring state-of-the-art Audio-Animatronics® and favorite songs like “Let It Go”.
  • A High-Tech Olaf: During the “A Celebration in Arendelle” boat show, keep an eye out for a next-generation robotic Olaf that brings the snowman to life like never before
  • The Snowflower Festival: The village comes alive with this unique celebration, allowing guests to meet Anna and Elsa at a royal encounter in the castle.

Adventure Way & Rapunzel Tangled Spin

Connecting the park’s various lands is Adventure Way, a majestic new avenue surrounded by themed gardens.

  • Raiponce Tangled Spin: This new family attraction invites you to twirl in sculpted gondolas through the iconic Lantern Festival from Tangled, set to the music of “I See the Light”.
  • Themed Gardens: Relax in the Toy Story Garden, featuring oversized popsicle-stick benches, or the English-inspired Gazebo Garden.

Adventure Bay: The Park’s New “Beating Heart”

At the center of it all lies Adventure Bay, a massive 7.5-acre lake.

  • Disney Cascade of Lights: At night, the lake transforms into an open-air stage for a breathtaking show featuring 380 drones, including world-exclusive aquatic drones and fountains that shoot water over 18 meters high.
  • Regal Dining: For the best views, head to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge. This elegant table-service spot offers “Princess-inspired” cuisine and views directly over the water and Arendelle.

Beyond the Horizon: The Lion King

The adventure doesn’t stop here. Disney confirmed that construction has already begun (as of Fall 2025) on the first-ever themed area dedicated to The Lion King. This future land will feature a major water-based attraction that plunges guests into the Pride Lands to follow Simba’s journey.
