The multi-year development strategy will introduce two high-tech, DC-themed attractions to the park’s Metropolis zone, reinforcing the destination’s position as a premier global hub for themed entertainment.
1. Kryptonite Collider
Opening next month on July 26, 2026, the Kryptonite Collider is an immersive, high-energy centrifuge experience.
Designed to draw guests directly into the narrative, the attraction’s queue line simulates Lex Luthor’s Everyman Project, complete with infomercial-style corporate videos that set the stage before boarding. The 32-guest vehicle delivers a dynamic, high-speed vortex experience, heightened by synchronized onboard audio and dynamic lighting designed to mimic the volatile energy of Kryptonite. The experience concludes with interactive digital displays that allow guests to evaluate their own “superhuman powers” upon exiting.
2. Superman Up and Away (Targeting 2028)
Slated for a 2028 debut, Superman Up and Away is a next-generation flying roller coaster designed to simulate the authentic sensation of flight.
The attraction will feature a face-down ride configuration, launching guests alongside Superman on a high-speed mission to defend Metropolis. While full mechanical specifications remain under wraps, the coaster aims to set a new benchmark for kinetic storytelling and high-thrill engineering in the region, according to the park.
By spacing these openings out over the next few years, Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery are ensuring that Yas Island stays top-of-mind for international travelers.
