Disney is adding even more reasons to visit Disney’s BoardWalk with two new experiences set to open beginning in late 2026.
The biggest addition is Hurly-Burly, a new waterfront lounge themed to a historic seaside theater. During the day, the venue will host family-friendly activities like trivia and games, while evenings will transform the space into a 21+ live music lounge featuring coastal-inspired cocktails, small bites, and entertainment.
As someone who spends a lot of time on the BoardWalk, this feels like a great fit. The area has always had a fun nightlife vibe, but another dedicated music venue gives guests one more reason to stick around after a day at EPCOT.
Disney also announced that Basin will open a new location on the BoardWalk. The shop will offer handcrafted soaps, bath bombs, body products, and interactive experiences including custom bath tea blending, soap making, and personalized soap embossing.
One of the things that makes the BoardWalk so enjoyable is that it never feels like you’re in a rush. You can grab a drink, stroll around Crescent Lake, listen to live entertainment, and just relax. These additions seem to lean into exactly that atmosphere.
Disney also teased that a new quick-service restaurant is still on the way, with more details expected later this summer.

Janine is a theme park and pop culture nerd from an early age. Since 1994, she’s been traversing the theme park world and has enjoyed all things from Halloween events to new ride releases and beyond. When she’s not at a theme park, she’s probably at a concert or doing something fun with her kiddo.
