The neon-soaked world of AREA15 has officially leveled up with the grand opening of Eye Dropper, a massive, 200-foot-tall psychedelic thrill ride now open in Zone 2.
Forget everything you know about standard drop towers. Eye Dropper blends high-octane physics with a cinematic, story-driven experience designed to distort your perception. Whether it’s the “Space Shot” launch or the “Turbo Drop” free-fall, riders hit speeds of 36 mph and experience everything from intense 4.0 G-force pressure to weightless airtime. Topping it all off is a massive, custom LED “digital eye” that watches over the Las Vegas skyline, changing intensity based on the ride’s action.

The ride kicked off this past Saturday, June 20, with a massive block party attended by local legends—including mascots from the Vegas Golden Knights and the Las Vegas Aces.
Eye Dropper is the crown jewel of AREA15’s massive Zone 2 expansion. If you’re heading there this summer, keep an eye out for even more additions, including the Museum of Ice Cream (opening July 3), new dining spots, and of course, the Universal Horror Unleased addition. Check out our video here of that new addition.
Pro-tip: Tickets are $25 for adults, with discounts available for locals and families. It’s also included in the AREA15 bundled Experience Passes. Catch it daily from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
