New Disney Princess Cavalcade Debuts at Disneyland Paris

A brand-new daytime entertainment offering is arriving at Disney Adventure World in Disneyland Paris, and it puts the spotlight on four adventurous Disney Princesses in an all-new way.

Debuting July 24, the Disney Princess Cavalcade was created exclusively for the park’s newly transformed second gate and celebrates Moana, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Raya through original music, colorful floats, and interactive moments with guests.

Rather than simply watching the procession pass by, guests will have opportunities to join the fun as the cavalcade transforms into an interactive celebration featuring dancing with Moana, martial arts-inspired movements alongside Raya, and choreography led by the performers.

The new cavalcade features:

• Four original floats inspired by the worlds of Moana, Rapunzel, Tiana, and Raya
• Two original songs created exclusively for Disneyland Paris
• Interactive moments where guests can join the performers
• Favorite characters including Pua, Heihei, Pascal, Ray, and Tuk Tuk

The route begins near the future Lion King area before making its way toward The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge and returning along the same path.

One detail we really appreciate is that Disney didn’t simply recreate scenes from the films. Instead, the creative team designed each float to resemble concept art brought to life, using hand-painted finishes, layered textures, and vibrant colors that feel more artistic than literal.

The production itself is also impressive. More than 600 creators, artisans, engineers, musicians, and performers helped bring the cavalcade to life, with 38 performers, four elaborate floats, and nearly 300 hours of rehearsals going into the final production.

Original music was also created specifically for the experience, including two brand-new songs recorded by around 50 musicians. One is performed primarily in French, giving the cavalcade a unique local touch while still being accessible to international guests.

Disneyland Paris has consistently produced some of Disney’s best live entertainment, and this looks like another great addition. Between the interactive elements, original soundtrack, and beautifully designed floats, this feels much more like a moving stage show than a traditional parade.
