Fall has officially arrived at Disneyland Resort, with Halloween Time and Plaza de la Familia beginning August 21 and bringing seasonal entertainment, attraction overlays, new food and beverages, merchandise and festive décor across the resort.

Halloween Time runs through October 31, 2026, with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends debuting all-new Halloween costumes featuring harlequin-inspired designs and colorful confectionery details. Over at Haunted Mansion Holiday, guests will also find a new gingerbread house celebrating 25 years of the attraction’s elaborate seasonal creations. This year’s design transforms the traditional gingerbread display into a monstrous music box.

Other highlights include:

  • Seasonal entertainment: “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” returns to Disney California Adventure, while “Halloween Screams” lights up Disneyland with a nighttime spectacular and fireworks on select nights.
  • Halloween attraction overlays: Haunted Mansion Holiday returns alongside Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween, Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree and Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.
  • New food and collectibles: Seasonal offerings include Buffalo Chicken Ranch Pull-Apart Bread and the Nuez gelatina cake, plus collectibles such as the Vampire Mickey Mouse popcorn bucket and Coco Lantern sipper, available beginning September 3.
  • More Halloween throughout the resort: Pixar Place Hotel is getting new Monsters, Inc.-inspired holiday décor, while Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will feature returning confectionery displays. Downtown Disney will also offer seasonal food, shopping, entertainment and movie nights.

Plaza de la Familia Celebrates Día de los Muertos

Plaza de la Familia returns to Disney California Adventure through November 2, 2026, celebrating the spirit of Día de los Muertos with live entertainment, colorful décor and Mexican-inspired cuisine.

The celebration adds another layer to Disneyland Resort’s fall lineup, with experiences inspired by family, remembrance and Mexican traditions alongside the resort’s broader Halloween festivities.

Families visiting early in the season can also take advantage of the Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer, featuring $50 one-day Park Hopper tickets for children ages 3 to 9 for visits through September 7, 2026.

With new character looks, seasonal attractions, entertainment, food, and returning favorites, Halloween Time and Plaza de la Familia give guests plenty to experience throughout Disneyland Resort this fall.
