With reservations for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge set to open to all guests on October 8, Disney is offering another look inside the highly anticipated resort, including new details about its grand lobby and a first look at Branch & Brush, a new lounge overlooking Bay Lake.

Located just beyond the resort’s main lobby, Branch & Brush will provide guests with a new place to relax, enjoy handcrafted cocktails and take in views of the water.

A Lobby Inspired by Nature and Disney Storytelling

The lobby is expected to serve as one of the defining spaces at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows designed to bring the surrounding natural landscape into the resort.

The space draws inspiration from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Pocahontas, incorporating elements inspired by the film’s music, artwork, and themes of nature.

One of the most distinctive features will be a shimmering fiberoptic river embedded into the floor. The illuminated river will wind through the lobby and around a custom bronze centerpiece created by Walt Disney Imagineering.

Guests who take a closer look will also find familiar characters from Disney animated films incorporated into the design.

Above the lobby, the Colors of the Wind sculpture will feature hundreds of suspended blown-glass leaves. The large-scale installation is designed to add color and movement to the space while reinforcing the resort’s connection to the natural world.

First Look at Branch & Brush

Just beyond the lobby, Branch & Brush will offer a more intimate setting for guests looking to unwind during their stay.

The lounge takes its design inspiration from the changing seasons, with rich colors, natural textures, and an extensive collection of artwork contributing to the atmosphere.

One of the centerpiece elements will be a color-changing chandelier designed to represent the transition through all four seasons. The lighting installation will give the lounge a changing visual character throughout the day.

The lounge will also offer views of Bay Lake, giving guests an opportunity to take in the resort’s waterfront setting while enjoying a drink.

With Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge preparing to welcome guests, the newly revealed details provide a better look at how the resort will blend nature, Disney animation and immersive design throughout its public spaces.

Reservations for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will open to all guests on October 8, 2026.
