Disney Cruise Line has officially pulled back the curtain on its newest ship, the Disney Believe, revealing an impressive lineup of new venues, entertainment, dining experiences, and guest accommodations.

The newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet is scheduled to make its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, sailing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The ship will offer four- and five-night cruises to destinations in the Bahamas and Caribbean.

Moana Takes Center Stage in the Grand Hall (Seen above)

Guests will first encounter the spirit of the Disney Believe in the ship’s Grand Hall, which will be themed to Disney Animation’s Moana.

The central gathering space will draw inspiration from the ocean and the Pacific Islands, incorporating ocean-inspired colors, Polynesian design elements, and details inspired by Moana’s world.

A bronze statue of Moana with Pua and Heihei will serve as a centerpiece of the Grand Hall.

One of the most distinctive features will be the chandelier, inspired by the movement of the ocean and incorporating the heart of Te Fiti.

The Grand Hall continues the tradition established aboard Disney’s newest ships, giving each vessel its own unique central gathering space and theme.

A New Lounge Inspired by Snow White

The Disney Believe will also introduce Wishing Well, a new lounge inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 1937 classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The venue will feature three distinct areas, each drawing inspiration from different elements of the film.

The bar area will evoke Snow White’s castle, including stained-glass artwork inspired by the castle windows. The seating area will resemble a storybook courtyard filled with white blossoms and red apples, while the performance area will feature woodwork inspired by the Seven Dwarfs’ cottage.

Zootopia Comes to Life at Gazelle

Another major addition will be Gazelle, an entertainment hub inspired by the world of Disney’s Zootopia.

During the day, Gazelle will offer family entertainment, while the venue will transition to adult-exclusive entertainment in the evening.

The Disney Believe will also introduce a first for Disney Cruise Line: Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will star in a new family show.

Guests will be invited to put their detective skills to the test as the two characters attempt to solve a new mystery.

Inside Out: Joyful Sweets Gets an Update

Fans of Disney and Pixar’s Inside Out will find a familiar favorite aboard the Disney Believe.

Inside Out: Joyful Sweets will return with new additions inspired by Inside Out 2, including sculptural representations of Anxiety, Envy, and the “Sense of Self” structure.

Joy and Sadness will also remain part of the colorful space.

The dessert shop will offer nearly 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream, along with daily handcrafted gelato specials and a variety of signature sweets.

Oaken’s Table Will Bring Frozen to the Dinner Table

One of the biggest new dining experiences aboard the Disney Believe will be Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast.

The new restaurant will take guests into a forest setting featuring a Scandinavian Summerhaus courtyard, where Oaken and his cousins will welcome families.

The experience will combine dinner with live entertainment, including reimagined versions of songs from the Frozen films.

Guests can also expect special appearances from Anna and Kristoff during the meal.

The restaurant will essentially serve as a new chapter in the Frozen story created specifically for the Disney Believe.

Sea Notes Will Take Guests Under the Sea

Located just off the Grand Hall, Sea Notes will be a new piano lounge inspired by Ariel’s grotto from The Little Mermaid.

The space will combine contemporary design with elements inspired by Ariel’s underwater world.

A pearlescent piano will serve as the centerpiece, along with one of Ariel’s forgotten treasures.

Sea Notes will offer live piano music, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages in an atmosphere designed to feel like an underwater retreat.

Skygazers Offers a New Adult Hangout

Another new space aboard the Disney Believe will be Skygazers, an observatory-themed pub designed for adults.

The venue will resemble an astronomer’s laboratory, complete with bookshelves filled with astronomical instruments, celestial maps and hidden references to classic Disney stories involving characters who wished upon stars.

Skygazers will serve craft beers, specialty cocktails and light bites.

The pub will also feature live sports broadcasts, making it another option for adults looking for a place to relax while onboard.

New Staterooms Bring Disney Stories to Life

The Disney Believe’s staterooms will continue Disney Cruise Line’s tradition of incorporating beloved Disney stories into the guest experience.

New papercut-style artwork will bring stories including Moana, Coco, and Inside Out into the standard staterooms.

Concierge accommodations will feature additional themed designs inspired by Peter Pan and Toy Story, including special oceanview rooms located above the bridge.

As with other Disney Cruise Line ships, the Disney Believe will feature family-friendly layouts with ample storage, split-bath designs in most staterooms, roomy closets and elevated beds with additional storage underneath.

Approximately 70% of the ship’s staterooms will feature verandahs, while more than 450 connecting doors will give larger families additional flexibility.

One of the biggest entertainment announcements is the arrival of “Disney Encanto”, the first-ever stage adaptation of Disney Animation’s Encanto.

The production will follow Mirabel as she attempts to save her family and their magical home.

The show will incorporate Colombian culture through its costumes, scenery, and choreography, along with the music from the film, including songs written by Disney Legend Lin-Manuel Miranda.

For fans of Encanto, this could become one of the marquee entertainment offerings aboard the Disney Believe.

Two New Coffee Shops Are Coming

The Disney Believe will also give coffee lovers two new places to grab a drink.

Big Hero Sips will take inspiration from the San Fransokyo setting of Big Hero 6, while Café Kakamora will be inspired by the coconut-loving Kakamora from Moana.

Both locations will offer coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.

The ship will feature 1923 and Worlds of Marvel, two restaurants already familiar to guests aboard other ships in the Wish Class.

The popular Haunted Mansion Parlor will also return, bringing its supernatural atmosphere and specialty drinks to the Disney Believe.

The Disney Believe will officially enter service on December 18, 2027, departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The ship’s initial itineraries will include four- and five-night voyages to destinations in the Bahamas and Caribbean.
