Web-heads, it is time to clear your calendars. The promotional campaign for Peter Parker’s next big-screen adventure just kicked into overdrive. Live from the Amsterdam stop of their global press tour, stars Tom Holland and Zendaya officially announced that tickets are now on sale for Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

Along with the ticket rollout, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures unleashed a massive new trailer that gives us our best look yet at Peter’s isolated new reality.

If you were wondering how Marvel would handle the tragic fallout of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the new trailer makes it very clear: Peter Parker is entirely on his own.

The world has forgotten who Peter is, and watching his closest friends move on with their lives without him is taking a severe emotional toll. The official synopsis hints that this intense pressure triggers a dark shift inside Peter—a transformation that he might not be able to control. However, this mysterious internal change might be the only weapon he has against a terrifying, invisible new threat terrorizing New York City.

An All-Star Cast and Crew

The film boasts an incredible ensemble, blending familiar faces with massive new additions to the franchise. The cast includes:

  • Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man
  • Zendaya as MJ
  • Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds
  • Sadie Sink (a major new addition to the franchise)
  • Jon Bernthal (presumably back as Frank Castle / The Punisher)
  • Michael Mando (Mac Gargan / Scorpion)
  • Tramell Tillman
  • Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner / The Hulk)

Behind the camera, the film is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), with Marvel mastermind Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal producing.

A Tech Milestone for Moviegoers

Interestingly, Marvel highlighted a unique technical aspect for this release. For the first time in the franchise’s history, the movie has been custom-tailored into two native aspect ratios: a 1.90:1 presentation for flat screens and a 2.39:1 presentation for wider scope screens. The goal is to ensure that no matter which theater or screen type you choose, the image perfectly fills the display without awkward letterboxing, making the web-slinging action as immersive as possible.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings exclusively into theaters on July 31, 2026. You can grab your seats right now via the official movie site at spidermanbrandnewday.movie Or through your local theater chain before opening weekend sells out!
