The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man The Ride” will be closing its doors to make way for new enhancements at Universal Studios Japan. The “World’s Best Attraction” which has spun so many webs of emotion and memory for the cumulative total of 100 million visitors who experienced the ride in Japan, will cease operating on Monday, January 22nd, 2024.
Popular both inside and outside of Japan, “The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man The Ride” immersed visitors in a thrilling adventure through New York City with Spider-Man by utilizing super high definition 4K3D visuals and ride motion technology with over 100 synchronized special effects and was the first attraction to ever be chosen as the World’s No. 1 Ride seven years in a row. With heartfelt gratitude to park guests and the emotional connection and memories to the ride created over the past 20 years, Universal Studios Japan will begin the “Farewell Campaign for The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man 4K3D – The Ride” on Tuesday July 4th, 2023. Additional programs are planned and will be announced on the official website and social networks:

●New limited edition merchandise items to be available during the campaign – Popular food item to return!
To make your ride experience even more memorable, new limited-time-only merchandise will be available. The “Spider-Man the Ride” souvenir set, a favorite of many guests, will be reissued, and new items featuring famous scenes from “Spider-Man the Ride” and other designs will also be available. Please enjoy the Amazing World of “Spider-Man” by acquiring these special items that can only be found in the parks.
Assure entry and a smooth experience on the final adventure of Spider-Man The Ride with the Universal Express Pass
A special Universal Express Pass option will be offered that guarantees visitors can enjoy Spider-Man The Ride’s finale and shortens wait times, allowing visitors to fully enjoy the park efficiently. Guest can choose from pass types that guarantee entry to Spider-Man The Ride twice, or include limited-edition commemorative items.
