A fan-favorite summer event is officially returning to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon.
Disney H2O Glow After Hours is back for 2026, taking place on select nights from June 2 through September 5, bringing late-night energy, characters, and shorter wait times to one of Walt Disney World’s most popular water parks.
A Summer Night Party at Typhoon Lagoon
H2O Glow transforms Typhoon Lagoon into a neon-lit beach party after the sun goes down.
Across 13 event nights, guests can experience the park in a completely different way, with glowing décor, music, and a more relaxed atmosphere compared to daytime crowds.
One of the biggest draws continues to be shorter wait times, making it easier to hit popular attractions like Castaway Creek and Humunga Kowabunga without the usual daytime lines.
Powerline Max Headlines the Event
This year’s event is leaning even more into characters.
Powerline Max is set to headline the experience, meeting guests throughout the night and bringing a throwback Disney vibe that’s become a huge hit in recent years.
He’ll be joined by a rotating lineup of characters including:
- Donald Duck and Daisy Duck
- Chip ‘n’ Dale as the Rescue Rangers
- Scrooge McDuck and Launchpad McQuack
The character presence adds a lot to the event, especially since many of these appearances are harder to find during regular park hours.
Music, Attractions, and After-Hours Access
The event also features a DJ dance party, turning sections of the park into a full-on nighttime celebration.
At the same time, all your favorite attractions remain open, letting guests move between rides and entertainment throughout the night.
It’s that mix that makes H2O Glow stand out. You’re not choosing between rides or atmosphere. You’re getting both at the same time.

A Different Way to Do Disney at Night
H2O Glow has become one of those events that feels very different from a typical park day.
Between the lighting, music, and overall vibe, it’s less about rushing from ride to ride and more about just enjoying the atmosphere, especially with friends or family.
And honestly, there’s something fun about being in a water park at night. It just hits differently than during the day.
