Disney Store is returning to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event from August 14 through August 16 in Anaheim with exclusive merchandise, immersive displays, artist experiences, and a few fun surprises for attendees.
Featured Merchandise
Fans will be able to preview and shop several special collections, including:
- Disney x Formula 1®: A limited-time capsule featuring premium jackets with Mickey & Friends designs
- Blooms by Disney: Plush inspired by the collection that originally launched at Hong Kong Disneyland
- Disney Store Exclusive Plush: New Mickey & Friends and Winnie the Pooh plush inspired by the D23 color palette
- SKINNYDIP London x Peter Pan: An upcoming apparel and accessories collection featuring Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, and the Lost Boys
The Peter Pan collection will only be previewed at the event, while the other featured collections will be available to shop through QR codes.
How Shopping Will Work
Instead of carrying purchases around the convention, guests can scan QR codes at the Disney Store booth to shop select merchandise through DisneyStore.com and have it shipped directly to their homes.
This applies to:
- Blooms by Disney
- Disney Store-exclusive plush
- Disney x Formula 1® merchandise
Honestly, this feels like a smart move. D23 can already involve a lot of walking, lines, and merchandise to carry, so shipping purchases directly home should make the experience much easier.
Interactive Experiences
The Disney Store booth will also feature:
- A giant claw-machine photo experience
- Limited Disney Artist meet-and-greets
- Sketch and signing opportunities
- Exclusive tote bags and stickers while supplies last
- A drawing for a Disney Store tote featuring artwork created live during the event
Pre-registration for select Disney Artist experiences will be available through the Disney D23 app through July 24 at 12 p.m. PT.
Shopping Online After D23
Fans who cannot attend in person will still have a chance to shop select event merchandise during Disney Store eCommerce Day on August 17 at 8 a.m. PT.
Items from the D23 Marketplace and Disney Store booth will be available online while supplies last.
Between the Formula 1 collection, exclusive plush, artist experiences, and giant claw machine, the Disney Store booth sounds like it will be one of the more popular stops at D23 this year. The online shopping day is also a welcome addition for fans who cannot make it to Anaheim.
