Disney Cruise Line has officially released its highly anticipated deployment schedule for Fall 2027 through Spring 2028, introducing a robust array of new itineraries, historical homeport shifts, and a landmark return to the Northeast. Spanning multiple continents and introducing unique port-of-call additions, the upcoming season highlights the continuous expansion of the Disney fleet.

The Landmark Return to New York City

Highlighting the Fall 2027 deployment is Disney Cruise Line’s official return to New York City for the first time since 2023. Following its inaugural European season, the Disney Wish—marking the first time a Wish-class vessel will operate out of the region—will homeport in the Big Apple starting in late September 2027.

The ship is scheduled to anchor a series of seven distinct voyages ranging from four to seven nights. These include five dedicated sailings to Bermuda, three of which will feature extended overnight stays to allow guests ample time to explore King’s Wharf. Furthermore, the deployment marks Disney’s comeback to New England and Canada’s Atlantic coast after nearly four years. Guests can experience peak autumn foliage with scheduled calls to Boston, Massachusetts; Saint John, New Brunswick; and Halifax, Nova Scotia, before the ship transitions southward.

Strategic Fleet Deployments and Florida Homeports

Beginning in November 2027, Port Canaveral will anchor three Wish-class ships simultaneously—a major milestone for the cruise line:

  • The Disney Destiny will establish its first-ever homeport at Port Canaveral, executing three- to seven-night itineraries to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean following an initial program out of Fort Lauderdale.
  • The Disney Wish will transition to Port Canaveral following its New York and San Juan programs, offering short-duration Bahamian getaways that incorporate visits to Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
  • The Disney Treasure and Disney Dream will continue comprehensive Eastern and Western Caribbean programming, with select itineraries featuring multi-stop visits to Disney’s private island destinations.

Additionally, the Disney Fantasy will introduce unique regional milestones, including an inaugural eight-night Bermuda cruise departing from Fort Lauderdale that visits both Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay.

Extended Caribbean, Panama Canal, and Global Itineraries

The Disney Magic embodies the Disney Cruise Line tradition of blending the elegant grace of early 20th century transatlantic ocean liners with contemporary design to create a stylish and spectacular cruise ship.

Disney Cruise Line is also maximizing regional departures across North America and abroad:

  • San Juan, Puerto Rico: Both the Disney Fantasy and Disney Wish will scale up Southern and Eastern Caribbean operations, offering culturally rich itineraries to destinations such as Aruba, Bonaire, St. Maarten, and Dominica.
  • Panama Canal Crossings: The Disney Magic will operate two distinct 14-night repositioning voyages. The autumn eastbound transit from San Diego to Galveston will feature a maiden call to Fuerte Amador (Panama City), while the spring westbound return will introduce a maiden call to Colón, Panama.
  • West Coast & International Waters: The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will maintain robust schedules out of San Diego covering the Mexican Riviera and Baja California, while the Disney Adventure continues its deployment in Southeast Asia from Singapore.
