Disney Reveals First Look at Guest Rooms Coming to Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge

Disney has shared a new look inside Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, offering the first details and concept art for the nature-inspired accommodations coming to Walt Disney World Resort in 2027.

Set to open along the shores of Bay Lake on July 1, 2027, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will feature 967 guest rooms across a wide variety of accommodation types. From cozy studios designed for couples to expansive villas and new waterfront Lake Houses, the resort will blend Disney storytelling with designs inspired by the natural world.

Disney says the accommodations will incorporate natural materials, earth-toned color palettes and artwork inspired by some of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ most beloved films with connections to nature and the outdoors.

Here is a closer look at what guests can expect when Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge opens next summer.

New Waterfront Lake Houses Coming to Disney World

One of the most unique features planned for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will be its collection of waterfront Lake Houses.

The one- and two-bedroom accommodations will be standalone retreats positioned along Bay Lake, giving guests a more secluded and immersive connection to the resort’s natural surroundings.

The Lake Houses will feature dramatic A-frame architecture, large floor-to-ceiling windows, and private porches overlooking the water.

The one-bedroom version will accommodate up to five guests, while the larger two-bedroom Lake House will sleep up to eight guests. Both will include a full kitchen and an in-room washer and dryer.

Inside, the accommodations will draw inspiration from Disney’s Brother Bear. Artwork and design details will reference the movie’s Alaskan setting and its themes of exploration and the natural world.

The primary bedrooms will also feature a Northern Lights-inspired lighting element designed to create a peaceful glow after dark.

Encanto-Inspired Duo Studios

For couples and smaller parties, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will offer Duo Studios designed to sleep two guests.

These compact accommodations will take inspiration from Disney’s Encanto, bringing colorful design elements and Disney storytelling into a cozy retreat.

The rooms will provide one of the smaller accommodation options at the resort while still continuing the overall theme of celebrating nature through Disney animation.

Bambi Takes Over the Deluxe Studios and Villas

Disney animation’s Bambi will serve as a major source of inspiration throughout several of the resort’s larger accommodations.

Deluxe Studios will sleep up to four guests and feature warm materials and woodland-inspired design details. Disney says the rooms will also incorporate original concept artwork from its animation archives.

Guests needing additional space will be able to choose from one- and two-bedroom villas.

The one-bedroom villas will sleep up to five guests, while the two-bedroom villas will accommodate up to nine guests.

Both villa types will include the amenities guests have come to expect from Disney Vacation Club-style accommodations, including full kitchens, washers and dryers, private patios and separate living and dining areas.

The interior designs will continue the Bambi influence with soft natural colors, forest-inspired details and artwork celebrating the environments seen throughout the animated classic.

Fantasia-Inspired Grand Villas

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will also feature three-bedroom Grand Villas designed for larger families and multigenerational travel groups.

Inspired by the artistry of Disney’s Fantasia, the Grand Villas will sleep up to 12 guests.

Each will include multiple bathrooms, a full kitchen, private patio space, and large gathering areas designed for families and groups traveling together.

The Grand Villas will also offer views of Bay Lake, making them among the resort’s most spacious and premium accommodations.

Pocahontas-Inspired Resort Rooms

In addition to the resort’s studios and villas, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will feature traditional resort-style rooms and suites.

Standard Resort Studios will accommodate up to four guests, while Resort Studio King rooms will sleep up to two.

These accommodations will take inspiration from Disney’s Pocahontas, incorporating earth tones and artwork influenced by the sweeping landscapes and visual style of the animated film.

Disney says archival artwork will also play a role in bringing the storytelling of the film into the guest rooms.

The Artist’s Nest Club Lounge

Guests staying in select Club Level rooms will receive access to The Artist’s Nest, a concierge lounge located high above the resort’s surrounding landscape.

The lounge will offer personalized concierge services, complimentary refreshments, and one particularly impressive perk: views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.

Given Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge location along Bay Lake, the fireworks views are expected to become one of the resort’s biggest selling points for guests looking for a premium stay.

Hidden Willow Presidential Suite

For the resort’s most luxurious accommodation, Disney is introducing the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite.

The suite will sleep up to six guests and feature two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen and an in-room washer and dryer.

Guests staying in the suite will have views of Bay Lake during the day and the Magic Kingdom fireworks at night.

The Presidential Suite will also include access to The Artist’s Nest Club Lounge.

How to Book Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge

Disney has announced that reservations for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will begin opening in October.

Disney Vacation Club Members will receive the first opportunity to book rental stays beginning October 6 through Member Services.

Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will then receive access beginning October 7.

Reservations will open to all guests beginning October 8.

With its combination of traditional resort rooms, Disney Vacation Club-style villas, Grand Villas and the brand-new waterfront Lake Houses, Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is shaping up to offer one of the widest ranges of accommodations at a single Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is scheduled to officially welcome its first guests on July 1, 2027.

As construction continues, Disney is expected to reveal additional details about the resort’s dining, recreation, amenities and other experiences in the months ahead.
