On the official day of its 70th anniversary – July 17, 2025 – Disneyland Resort will debut all-new experiences in Disneyland Park. Here is a look at what’s coming
A tribute to the songwriting duo, the Sherman Brothers, will debut for guests in the Main Street Cinema. Here you can watch a three-and-a-half minute film called “The Last Verse,” which highlights their iconic song “It’s a Small World” and unveils a new verse in its lyrics. The new verse will also premiere in the “it’s a small world” attraction at Disneyland Park beginning July 17.

Curated by Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with Walt Disney Archives and The Walt Disney Family Museum, the Main Street Opera House will be home to an all-new gallery of artifacts, images and art – some never before seen – documenting Disneyland from its very early stages to the icon it is today. A special exhibit will show the inner workings and how far Audio-Animatronics technology has advanced through the years.

“Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will now debut alongside these new Main Street Opera House exhibits on July 17. The exit lobby will preview projects and moments of how Disneyland will move into the future, as well as showcase how it has done so for decades.
After its initial run, “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” will play in rotation with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.”
