If you grew up watching Fraggle Rock, or if your kids have fallen in love with the Emmy-winning Apple TV series, get ready for some major nostalgia. The Jim Henson Company has just announced that Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE is hitting the road again for its second national tour!
Following a summer run at the New Victory Theater in New York City, the production will kick off its new tour on September 18, 2026, in La Crosse, Wisconsin. From there, Gobo, Red, Mokey, Wembley, and Boober will travel to over 40 cities across the United States—including Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Tucson, and Charleston.
What is the show about? In this original stage adventure, the Fraggles go on a quest to find the lost Celebration Stone, an ancient treasure meant to bring everyone together for the ultimate party.
Parents and kids can expect:
- Incredible walkaround Fraggles and Doozer puppets crafted by the world-famous Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
- A special appearance by a giant Gorg.
- Plenty of comedy, classic songs, and eye-popping visual effects.
- The show is written and directed by Broadway star John Tartaglia (Avenue Q), who promises a high-energy experience filled with hope, optimism, and plenty of silliness.
