Cedar Fair Unveils DIABLO: The Infernal Path for Halloween Haunt

Wanderers, your nightmare is about to become a reality. This Halloween season, the dark, gothic world of Blizzard Entertainment’s iconic Diablo franchise is bleeding out of your monitor and into the physical realm. Kings Dominion has officially announced DIABLO: The Infernal Path, an all-new, skin-crawling haunted maze that will plunge guests straight into the harrowing depths of Sanctuary.

For the past 30 years, the battle between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells has captivated over 100 million players worldwide. Now, for the first time ever, fans won’t just watch the horrors unfold—they will have to survive them.

A Cataclysmic Rift to the Burning Hells

In DIABLO: The Infernal Path, a catastrophic dark ritual has violently shattered the barrier between worlds, flooding Sanctuary with ancient evil and unspeakable terrors. As brave souls navigate the maze’s corrupted, fog-choked pathways, they will step into meticulously crafted environments echoing the franchise’s grim lore.

There is nowhere to hide as guests come face-to-face with some of Hell’s most infamous, nightmare-inducing Prime Evils and legendary bosses, including:

• The Butcher (prepare to hear those dreaded words: “Fresh meat!”)
• Duriel, the Lord of Pain
• Baal, the Lord of Destruction
• Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred
• Lilith, the Blessed Mother
• And the Lord of Terror himself, Diablo

Custom-built for maximum terror, DIABLO: The Infernal Path was designed exclusively for Kings Dominion (as well as its sister park, Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio). The maze wraps visitors in an oppressive atmosphere of demonic corruption, ancient power, and fiery torment, blurring the line between immersive video game lore and visceral, real-world scares.

“DIABLO: The Infernal Path delivers an unprecedented opportunity for guests to experience the world of Diablo in a completely new way,” said Kelly Daugherty, Six Flags’ director of entertainment. “The attraction combines the franchise’s legendary demons, dark mythology and intense atmosphere with the immersive scares our guests expect during Halloween Haunt.”

DIABLO: The Infernal Path officially debuts during this year’s Halloween Haunt at Kings Dominion and Cedar Point. Access to the maze is included with the purchase of a Haunted Attractions Pass.
