Fans of The Princess and the Frog recently got a little extra magic when Jenifer Lewis paid a special visit to Tiana’s Joyful Celebration, the first-ever museum exhibit dedicated to Princess Tiana.
The exhibit, currently on display at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, celebrates the world of Princess Tiana and the rich traditions, music, food, and culture that inspired Disney’s beloved animated film.
For Lewis, who famously voiced Mama Odie in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog, the visit was especially meaningful. Not only is she featured within the exhibit itself, but she also spent time interacting with families, singing, dancing, and sharing joyful moments with guests experiencing the attraction.

She also recently reprised the role for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, helping connect the original film to Disney’s newest generation of Tiana experiences.

After its debut in Indianapolis, Tiana’s Joyful Celebration will embark on a five-year national tour, bringing the experience to museums across the country.
