Disney Cruise Line continues to chart an ambitious course for the future, with the fleet preparing to welcome yet another new ship.
The Disney Believe, the next addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, is scheduled to set sail in late 2027. The ship will introduce a collection of new venues and entertainment experiences inspired by some of Disney’s most beloved stories, further expanding the cruise line’s growing lineup.
The latest details were revealed during the Horizons: D23 Disney Experiences Showcase, offering fans their first look at the Disney Believe’s Grand Hall and distinctive exterior artwork.

Like the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, the Disney Believe’s Grand Hall will serve as one of the ship’s central gathering spaces. For the newest ship, the space will draw inspiration from Disney Animation’s Moana, with a bronze statue of Moana accompanied by Pua and Heihei serving as its centerpiece. Polynesian-inspired finishes will also help shape the atmosphere of the space.
The Disney Believe will also continue Disney Cruise Line’s tradition of giving each ship its own unique exterior character artwork.

On the stern, Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story will appear in larger-than-life sculptures, with the pair playfully working together to write the ship’s name using oversized yellow crayons. Meanwhile, Tinker Bell will adorn the bow in a hand-painted filigree design inspired by her original appearance in Disney’s 1953 animated classic Peter Pan.
What was once a relatively small fleet has entered a period of major expansion, with new ships bringing additional capacity, new onboard experiences and more opportunities for families to experience Disney at sea. The Disney Believe will join the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny as part of the cruise line’s newer generation of ships.
And Disney isn’t stopping there. The continued rollout of 13 total ships by 2031 demonstrates that Disney Cruise Line is becoming an increasingly important part of Disney’s broader theme park and vacation portfolio.
With the Disney Believe still under construction, there is plenty more to come as Disney Cruise Line prepares for its newest vessel to take to the seas in 2027. For Disney fans, the growing fleet means the future of a Disney vacation is expanding well beyond the theme parks—and increasingly onto the open ocean.
