ArieForce One to Begin a New Chapter at Six Flags

One of the most acclaimed roller coasters of the modern era is getting a second life.

Six Flags has officially announced that ArieForce One has joined the Six Flags family and will be relocated to a Six Flags park for the 2028 or 2029 season.

The popular roller coaster originally opened at Fun Spot America Atlanta in 2023 and quickly became a must-ride attraction among coaster enthusiasts. Built by Rocky Mountain Construction, ArieForce One earned widespread praise for its intense pacing, powerful airtime moments, and action-packed layout.

According to Six Flags, the coaster will be preserved and reintroduced at a new park, allowing an entirely new generation of guests to experience one of the industry’s most celebrated recent roller coasters.

Mark Pauls, Chief Operating Officer of Six Flags, said the company recognized just how important the attraction had become to coaster enthusiasts and guests who traveled to experience it during its time at Fun Spot America Atlanta.

ArieForce One was named in honor of Fun Spot America founder John Arie Sr. and was a major passion project for the Arie family. The coaster helped put Fun Spot America Atlanta on the map as a destination for thrill-seekers and coaster fans from around the world.

John Arie Jr., CEO of Fun Spot America, expressed excitement that the attraction’s story will continue at a new home, allowing future generations of riders to experience the coaster.

The announcement also brings an end to months of speculation surrounding the future of ArieForce One. Coaster enthusiasts had been wondering whether the attraction would be preserved following its closure, and Six Flags has now confirmed that the ride will indeed return.

However, one major question remains unanswered: Which Six Flags park will become the new home of ArieForce One?

Six Flags has confirmed that the coaster will retain the ArieForce One name, preserving its connection to its original home and the Arie family while beginning a new chapter elsewhere.

The identity of the coaster’s future park has not yet been announced, but speculation is sure to intensify as Six Flags prepares the attraction for its eventual return in 2028 or 2029.

For now, coaster fans can celebrate knowing that ArieForce One’s story is far from over. One of the most beloved roller coasters of its generation will soon have a new home—and the race is now on to determine exactly where that home will be.
