Disneyland shared new details today about the upcoming San Fransokyo expansion coming to Disney California Adventure.

One of the locations coming to San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., later in summer of 2023, is Rita’s Turbine Blenders – a giant drink dispenser offering delicious margaritas and icy beverages. The refreshment stand, converted from an old fishing net tannery, is owned and named after the repair technician that maintains the floating wind turbine, resembling a giant koi fish that sits atop the structure.

Later in summer 2023, guests at San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., will discover the San Fransokyo Maker’s Market, a storefront stocked with unique apparel, homewares and more featuring Baymax and friends. As shown in the concept art, the market’s shelves are situated on robot storage cases, with decommissioned battle bots on display.

One of the locations coming to San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., later in summer 2023, will be Aunt Cass Café. This is the second bakery café operated by Hiro’s loving aunt, serving dishes, soups in freshly baked Boudin sourdough bread bowls and more inspired by Japanese cuisine.

When the transformation to San Fransokyo Square is completed in summer 2023, an iconic landmark of the area will be the San Fransokyo Gate Bridge (depicted here), which will span the tide pools linking San Fransokyo Square to the Paradise Gardens Park obelisk. The Pacific Wharf is currently undergoing an exciting transformation into San Fransokyo Square, inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ Academy Award-winning “Big Hero 6.”

One of the new offerings coming to San Fransokyo Square at Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, Calif., in summer of 2023, will be the new Port of San Fransokyo Cervecería. This new location draws inspiration from its tri-cultural influences, with signage in English, Japanese and Spanish.
