Things got a little wilder than usual at the “Happiest Place on Earth” today! On March 26, the world-famous Savannah Bananas officially took over Disneyland Resort for a one-day celebration of Banana Ball, bringing their infectious energy and viral antics to fans across the parks.
From high-energy performances in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle to dance-offs at Pixar Pier, the “Greatest Show in Sports” proved they’re just as at home on Main Street as they are on the diamond.
Highlights from the Takeover:

-
The Ultimate Cavalcade: Fans lined Main Street, U.S.A. to cheer on the team as they rolled through in a special celebratory procession.
-
Sweet Treats: Guests got a literal taste of the action with limited-time banana-flavored snacks and drinks found throughout the resort.
-
Exclusive Gear: The Downtown Disney District hosted a massive one-day pop-up shop, giving fans a rare chance to snag official Bananas merchandise.

This yellow-tinted takeover comes at a perfect time, as Disneyland continues its milestone 70th Celebration. It also served as the ultimate warm-up for the Bananas before they head over to Angel Stadium in Anaheim to face off against the Indianapolis Clowns on March 27-28.
