Disneyland Resort is officially kicking off its “Kids Rule Summer” offerings for 2026 with new Star Wars experiences, Bluey entertainment, returning attractions, seasonal entertainment, and summer ticket deals designed to keep families busy all season long.
And honestly, this summer lineup feels packed.
New Star Wars Experiences Expand Galaxy’s Edge

One of the biggest additions arrives May 22 with a brand-new mission aboard Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
The updated experience ties directly into The Mandalorian and Grogu and introduces expanded gameplay, three new destinations, plus appearances from Din Djarin and Grogu themselves.
Disneyland is also adding:
- Returning BDX droids at Black Spire Station
- Character encounters from multiple Star Wars eras
- New John Williams musical themes throughout Batuu
- “The Curious Child” nighttime projection experience featuring Grogu
It honestly sounds like Galaxy’s Edge is becoming a much more alive and dynamic land this summer, especially compared to its earlier years.
Bluey Continues Taking Over Disneyland

Meanwhile, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” continues at Fantasyland Theatre, bringing the hugely popular animated series into the parks in a big way.
The experience features:
- Live Bluey and Bingo appearances
- Interactive games and dance moments
- Character-inspired merchandise
- Family-focused entertainment throughout the day
And honestly, if you’ve seen how kids react to Bluey right now, this is probably going to stay one of Disneyland’s busiest family offerings for a while.
Soarin’ Across America Returns

Beginning July 2, guests can once again experience Soarin’ Around the World transformed into Soarin’ Across America for a limited-time run.
The returning version highlights iconic American landscapes and locations, and for a lot of longtime Disney fans, this version still carries a ton of nostalgia.
Disneyland’s 70th Celebration Continues

The resort’s 70th anniversary celebration also continues through August 9 with:
- Specialty entertainment
- Limited-time food and drinks
- Anniversary décor
- Summer-exclusive offerings across both parks
Disney California Adventure will also feature the Disney Friends Dance Party, while Disneyland Park brings back Stitch’s Interplanetary Beach Party Blast at Tomorrowland Terrace.
Summer Deals Return for Families
Disneyland is also leaning heavily into family-focused pricing this summer.
The return of the Kids’ Summer Ticket Offer includes Park Hopper tickets starting at $50 per child for ages 3–9 between May 22 and September 7.
Hotel discounts of up to 15% are also available for select Disneyland Resort stays through early September.
What stands out about this summer lineup is how intentionally it’s aimed at families and younger guests.
Between Bluey, dance parties, Star Wars additions, returning attractions, and seasonal entertainment, Disneyland feels very focused on making the parks feel active, energetic, and interactive all day long this summer.
And honestly, summer at Disneyland always has a different kind of energy when the parks fully lean into entertainment like this.
