WWE Is Taking Over ESPN Wide World of Sports at Disney World This December

Share:

Orlando just got a big holiday-season event. WWE and Disney have announced a two-day takeover of the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World on December 14-15. It’s a wrestling-meets-Marvel crossover, and it’s happening right on Disney property.

What’s on the Schedule

Monday, December 14: The John Cena Classic
This is the first-ever edition of the event. Top stars from Raw and SmackDown will face rising talent from NXT. The finale is a fan vote, where members of Club WWE (the company’s new fan membership program) choose the night’s standout performer in real time. You can sign up at WWE.com/ClubWWE. If you can’t make it to Orlando, the show will stream live on Netflix as a special edition of Monday Night Raw.

Tuesday, December 15: Avengers: Doomsday Worlds Collide
Just three days before Avengers: Doomsday hits U.S. theaters on December 18, WWE will present a Marvel-themed edition of Worlds Collide. It features top names from WWE, NXT, and AAA.

WWE World: The Part for Park Fans

Around the matches, WWE and Fanatics will run WWE World, a two-day fan festival at the complex. Expect exclusive merchandise, photo ops, and autograph opportunities with Superstars. There will also be Avengers: Doomsday co-branded gear, including title belts. You’ll find it at WWE World, on WWEShop.com, and at select Disney retail stores.

Tickets

  • Presale: Thursday, November 12 at 10 am ET
  • General on-sale: Friday, November 13 at 10 am ET via Ticketmaster.com
  • Format: Two-day combo tickets

You can register for event updates at WWE.com/CenaClassic. More details on the fan experiences are promised in the coming weeks, so I’ll update this post as they come in.

Disney and WWE’s partnership began in 2025, when the ESPN app became the exclusive U.S. home of WWE Premium Live Events for ESPN Unlimited subscribers. This event takes it from streaming to a live, in-person presence at Disney World.

The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is a 260-acre facility that has hosted 70 different sports since opening in 1997. It has a 9,500-seat stadium, an indoor arena, and dozens of fields, so it’s well equipped for a crowd like this.

If you’re planning a December trip, this could be a good excuse to add a couple of days to your itinerary. Will you be going? Let me know in the comments.
